Whether you're moving of simply delivering product via hand truck never overload it. Always follow the weight capacity which is usually found on the hand truck. If needing to move up or down stairs be sure the have another person helping or be sure to use a hand truck with stair glides or crawlers. They are the parts that extend off the back of the hand truck to assist moving loads up and down stairs.
